This FAA Advisory Circular provides information relevant to the public for the maintenance recordkeeping and record-making requirements of Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) parts 43 and 91. This AC provides one means, but not the only means, of ensuring that the contemplated maintenance, alterations, or continue-in-service condition is in compliance with applicable regulations and existing policy.  The FAA Order 8130.21 does not give guidance anymore for repair stations, that goes into effect November 25, 2025.
