The term, Dangerous Goods, is used worldwide. You’ll also learn about the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) regulations, with a focus on 49 CFR Part 172. This is an FAA requirement and OSHA requirement for awareness and understanding of any chemicals or other related hazardous materials in the workplace. When offered in transportation it becomes a requirement to train all employees for awareness.
